What is HGH?
Human Growth Hormone
(somatrotopin) is an endocrine hormone that is secreted by the pituitary gland
and linked to symptoms of aging, such as wrinkles, gray hair, an increase in
body fat and decrease in muscle mass, osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, a
decrease in energy as well as in sexual function. Just like estrogen and
testosterone, HGH production reaches its peak during adolescence and declines
with age (somatopause).
In 1980, the New England
Journal of Medicine published the discovery that the pituitary gland maintains
its ability to release growth hormone if stimulated appropriately, indicating
that HGH can successfully reverse many effects of aging in conjunction with a
proper diet and exercise. Studies have demonstrated that after 6 months of
frequently taking low doses of HGH, people benefited from
§ Restoring muscle mass,
§ Decreasing body fat,
§ Restoring hair loss and hair color
§ Restoring organs that shrink with age, such as
liver, heart and pancreas,
§ Thickening of skin and reducing wrinkles,
§ Increasing energy and sexual function
§ Increasing stamina and cardiac output
§ Increasing lean body mass
§ Increases metabolism
§ Improving immune function
§ Improving cholesterol levels as well as vision
and memory
§ Elevating mood and improved sleep patterns
§ Assisting in wound healing
